a apresentação do livro de Edgardo Pacheco - os 100 Melhores Azeites de Portugal - já aconteceu no final do ano passado, mas para se provarem ou comprarem os melhores azeites (bem como o fantástico livro, claro!) vamos ainda muito a tempo!
a apresentação teve lugar no Oliva & Co - uma loja no Porto especializada em azeite, onde pode fazer degustações e aprender tudo sobre azeite - e contou a com a presença do Chef Rui Paula que apresentou um prato elaborado em torno do azeite, bem como com uma masterclass de azeite, seguida de prova, por Francisco Pavão.
e no final ninguém saiu com dúvidas - os melhores azeites do mundo estão mesmo em Portugal!

the presentation of the book by Edgardo Pacheco - the 100 best olive oil from Portugal - took place already by the end of last year, but we are always on time to taste or buy the best olive oils (as well as to buy the fantastic book, of course!)
presentation took place at Oliva & Co - a shop in Porto specialised in olive oil, where you can go for tastings and learn everything about olive oil - and had the presence of Chef Rui Paula who offered a dish made with olive oil, and a masterclass on olive oil followed by a tasting, by Francisco Pavão.
at the end there was no doubt, the best olive oil in the world are in Portugal!
Poças Portwine & IVDP (Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e Porto) - an art exhibition

uma exposição de arte em torno do mundo do vinho do porto que vale a pena ver pela forma como surpreende e inova.
Luís Mendonça, ilustrador e designer, foi desafiado pela centenária empresa de vinhos Poças Júnior a criar uma coleção que ilustrasse o universo do vinho do Porto de forma diferente. e assim aconteceu.
a exposição pode ser visitada no Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e Porto até ao dia 17 de Fevereiro.

an art exhibition around port wine world that you should visit, because of its innovation and surprise.
Luís Mendonça, illustrator and designer, was invited by the centenary wine company Poças Júnior to create a collection illustrating Port wine universe in a different way. and that is what happened and you should go an see it!
the exhibition can be seen at Port Wine and Douro Institute until de 17th February.

e o Solar do Castelo - um pequeno boutique Hotel situado dentro das muralhas do Castelo de S. Jorge - recebeu-me com toda a excelência e dedicação.

why you should visit the school of fine arts (Universidade de Belas Artes do Porto)

é provável que nunca tenha entrado na Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto, mas eu vou dar-lhe algumas boas razões para o fazer.
é que muito para além de ser um edifício bonito e um antigo palacete do século XIX, que serve agora de casa dos estudantes das belas artes, tem uns jardins magníficos, repletos de obras de arte, edifícios exteriores com várias exposições, e um museu de visita obrigatória.
eu fui até lá para ver a exposição Liberdade Imprescindível, levada a cabo pelos actuais alunos de Doutoramento.

it is possible you never entered the School of Fine Arts, but I will give you some good reasons why you should do it.
besides being a beautiful building and an ancient palace from 19th century, hosting now the fine arts students, it has magnificient gardens, with art pieces, external buildings with exhibitions, and a museum, that you definitely should visit.
I went there to see the exhibition - indispensable freedom - by the students of the actual PhD.

parece sempre muito fácil e simples, mas desenganem-se: ser blogger não é só boa vida, dá mesmo muito trabalho.
e falando por mim, que faço tudo sozinha (vou aos eventos, vou aos locais, fotografo, entrevisto, escolho e edito as imagens, escrevo os textos......) - cada ano que passa o trabalho é maior.
