descobri a Casa da Guripa quando deambulava por Angeiras numa manhã de um sábado solarengo de inverno (ver este post), e é, de facto, um lugar para se ficar apaixonado...

I discovered Casa da Guripa when I was walking around Angeiras on a saturday morning from last winter (see this post), and it is, in fact, a place to fall in love with....

há uns fins-de-semana atrás andei a deambular por Angeiras, típica terra de pescadores localizada a uns 10 min de carro a norte do Porto.

por ali há uma praia imensa, e a vida ainda se faz das idas e vindas ao mar, das chegadas do peixe à lota, do mercado diário, de conversas salgadas e grelhados na rua, e....de bons restaurantes.

some weekends ago I have been rambling around Angeiras, typical fishermen's land located 10 min drive north from Porto.

there you will find a huge beach, and life is still about the come and go of the fishermen to the sea, the arriving of the fish, the market, salty conversations and grilled fish on the street, and....nice restaurants.

foi a 38..ª edição do Portugal Fashion, com mais de 20 criadores e 37 desfiles, que durante 3 dias animaram a cidade do Porto e mostraram as propostas outono/inverno 2016/17, desfilando em vários palcos  e em 3 locais distintos.

o primeiro dia do evento teve como sempre lugar em Lisboa, no Convento do Beato, onde não compareci, tendo acontecido o primeiro dia do Porto no fantástico edifício da CEIIA, em Matosinhos.

it was the 38 edition of Portugal Fashion, with the presence of more than 20 designers and 37 catwalks, which took place in several places in Porto, showing proposals for fall/winter 2016/2017.

first day happened as usual in Lisbon (I was not there) and the first day in Porto was at the beautiful building of CEIIA, in Matosinhos.

a 3 day detox with Liquid

I decided to do a detox with Liquid smoothies and juices, ...and....I survived! :)
smoothies are really good and satiating, with fruit, vegetables and super foods.

Liquid has specific and tested programmes for this kind of detox, you can drink the smoothies at the Liquid store or you can bring them home. Here in Porto there are two Liquid stores where you can have them, one in Matosinhos, another one downtown.

se é do Porto e fã do instagram, provavelmente já deu conta que no passado domingo houve mais um instameet que agitou a cidade, o primeiro organizado pela @nowporto, em colaboração com o FCPorto, e com visita marcada ao estádio do dragão.

com lotação esgotada, o encontro valeu pelo local que se visitou, pela criatividade e imaginação que sempre acontece,  e pelo encontro entre os os instagramers participantes, que assim têm mais uma oportunidade de se conhecerem ao vivo.

if you are from Porto and a fan of instagram, you probably already noticed that last saturday there was an instameet in the city, the first organised by @nowporto in cooperation with FCporto and visiting the dragon stadium.

the meet was full booked, and it is also good for the places we visit, for the creativity and imagination that flows, and for the opportunity to be with other instagramers, at a real place.

easter suggestion @Hotel Solverde Spa & Wellness Center

a Páscoa está à porta, e com ela uns dias para relaxar e estar com a família, e quem sabe dar um pequeno passeio fora do Porto...(sabe sempre tãoo bem...)

hoje, sugiro um passeio até Gaia, aqui pertinho, e almoçar no Restaurante Jardim, o restaurante do Hotel Solverde Spa & Wellness Center, com excelente localização -  mesmo em frente à praia.

eu fui até lá conhecer o buffet que estão a preparar para a Páscoa e só posso recomendar!

Easter is almost there, and with it some days to relax and to be with the family, and also some days to go outside Porto.... (which is always soo good!)

my suggestion today, is for a short trip to Gaia, here close to Porto, having a lunch at Restaurante Jardim, the restaurant from Hotel Solverde Spa & Wellness Center, which is excellent located in front of the sea.

I went there to try the Easter Buffet  they are preparing and can only recommend!
