para quem ainda não descobriu esta pastelaria magnífica, fica na Rua do Loureiro, em frente à entrada lateral da Estação de S. Bento.
o interior da pastelaria é lindo, digno de um post isolado e que virá a seguir, mas aguço já aqui a curiosidade - imagine uma tela de Acácio Lino de 1912 no tecto, e os recantos de uma antiga joalharia....
quanto às bolas de Berlim, (enormes, deliciosas e fofinhas), só mesmo provando - não perca tempo - mal possa vá até lá, delicie-se com uma, ou com um pastel de nata ou com qualquer outra iguaria, pois é tudo bom; acompanhe com um copo de ginjinha e renda-se à simpatia da Mónica e da mãe, Almerinda Dias, que não se escusam em conversas, em lhe contar a história da pastelaria e em nos convidar para subir ao andar de cima - onde não podemos deixar de ficar maravilhados.

regarding the bolas de Berlim (big size, delicious and fluffy) - you will have to try them, and do not waste time - go there and try one, or a pastel de nata, or something at your taste, everything is delicious; and you can pair it with a glass of ginginha (typical drink, slightly alcoholic), and surrender to Monica and her mother, and her nice talks - they tell you the story of the shop, and they invite you to climb the stairs and be delighted with the upstairs view.

"esta bicicleta era minha já há muito tempo, estava lá por casa parada e enferrujada, até que me lembrei de lhe dar vida nova e de a colocar aqui à porta para chamar a atenção. não que não venha muita gente aqui, já vêm muitos turistas, e muitas pessoas do Porto também, mas está ainda tudo muito concentrado ali para o lado da rua das Flores, e assim é uma maneira de captar mais clientes."
