all the way from Norway....

esta bicicleta já me tinha chamado a atenção numa rua mais acima, estava o seu dono ainda a sentar-se nela à saída da Fnac da Baixa. a quantidade de mochilas e sacos foi o que me deu nas vistas, e eu ao passar por ela ainda pensei "vou ver se ele me deixa fotografá-lo", mas achei que o enquadramento nem era o melhor,  nem eu tive à -vontade suficiente para o abordar, por isso segui.

um pouco mais abaixo apanhei-o aqui, eu deste lado da rua, um pouco à frente da Tubitek, ele às voltas com o mapa em cima da bicicleta. 

mesmo sem lhe pedir, desta vez fotografei-o.

segui o meu caminho para fotografar um hostel bem perto dali (fotos em breve no blog), e no final, quando me ia a despedir do rapaz da recepção, eis que vejo vários sacos e mochilas pousadas no chão, e o mesmo senhor que tinha fotografado, ali, sentado, a fazer o check-in:)

mostrei-lhe as fotos claro, e fiquei a saber que veio de bicicleta desde a Noruega!!! estava a chegar ao Porto vindo de Espanha, e não me soube dizer os kilómetros que já tinha feito porque o conta kilómetros dele tinha avariado......

I had noticed this bike already some quarter before, because of all its bags. I even thought of asking the owner to let me photograph him, but I thought the environment was not the best, and somehow I didn't have the courage to talk to him, so I continued my way.

I walked down a little more, and suddenly I noticed the man on the bike, just there, in front of me, where he is now.

So I took the pictures without asking him....

I went on, I was going  to photograph a hostel near by (pictures soon on the blog), and at the end, when I was going to say good-bye to the young man from the reception, I just noticed some bags on the floor, and it was the same man from the bike, sitting there doing check-in:)

I showed him the pictures, of course, and found out he had been travelling all the way from Norway on his bike!! He was just arriving from Spain, but couldn't tell me how many kilometres he had done because the counter was broken....
