os 35 anos de carreira dos GNR - a banda dos icónicos Rui Reininho, Jorge Romão e Tóli César Machado - foram celebrados ao mais alto nível, num concerto memorável com convidados de honra, o Coliseu cheio e fãs a vibrar.

as suas músicas já são intemporais, e o alinhamento do espetáculo não deixou nenhuma de fora - desde Dunas, Bellevue, Sangue Oculto, ..., e terminando com +Vale Nunca.
eu não faltei - e desta vez estive bem lá à frente, a fotografar :)

35 five years career of GNR - band belonging to the iconic three Rui Reininho, Jorge Romão e Tóli César Machado  were celebrated at its best, in a concert with honoured guests, the place (Coliseu) was full and all the fans always singing along.

their songs are very well known, and the line up didn't leave none without playing, from Dunas, Bellevue, Sangue Oculto,..., ending with + Vale Nunca.
I did not miss the concert, and this time I was right there on the front, taking pictures:) 

Happy Birthday to GNR - cheers to another 35 years! :)

no passado fim-de-semana teve lugar mais uma edição do Christmas Wine Experience no mítico e galardoado hotel vínico The Yeatman Hotel.

cerca de 60 produtores nacionais apresentaram 2 dos seus vinhos, que consideram as melhores propostas para esta altura do ano, e que se podiam fazer acompanhar das sugestões do Chef Ricardo Costa, Chef a quem recentemente foi atribuída a segunda estrela Michelin. 

evento de excelência, portanto, acrescendo o facto de ter acontecido em ambiente privilegiado e com uma das melhores vistas sobre o rio Douro e sobre a Ribeira do Porto.

last weekend took place another edition of the Chrsitmas Wine experience, at the mythical and prize winner wine hotel The Yeatman Hotel.

there were around 60 portuguese wine producers, who presented two wines, the two they consider  the best to have at this time of the year, and which could be combined with the gastronomic proposals prepared by Chef Ricardo Costa, recently awarded the second Michelin star.

it was an event of excellency, and taking place at a privileged location, with fantastic views over Douro river and Ribeira.

está a chegar mais uma edição do Christmas Wine Experience ( a 6.ª), a ter lugar no emblemático The Yeatman Hotel.

o evento, que irá partilhar o melhor dos vinhos e da gastronomia em Portugal, vai acontecer no fim-de-semana de 3 e 4 de Dezembro próximos,  e contará (no sábado) com uma masterclass ministrada pela influente crítica de vinhos britânica - Sarah Ahmed - e com a directora de vinhos do Hotel, Beatriz Machado.

durante o evento vão estar presentes 50 dos melhores produtores nacionais e 140 vinhos disponíveis, , um Bazer de Natal e o Spa da Vinotherapia, com excelentes promoções da marca Caudalíe. Um evento que promete!

para sábado, dia 3, o evento já está esgotado, mas para domingo ainda podem ser feitas as inscrições aqui!

another edition of the Christmas Wine Experience (the 6th edition) at iconic The Yeatman Hotel is arriving.

the event - presenting the best of the portuguese wines and gastronomy in Portugal will take place on the coming 3rd and 4th December, and will host (on saturday) a masterclass by Sarah Ahmed, a british well known wine influencer - and by Beatriz Machado, wine director at the Hotel.

50 portuguese producers and 140 wine brands will be there, as well as a Christmas Bazaar and the Spa from Vinotherapie, with excellent promotions from Caudalíe. It will be a great event!

humanfest - happening in Porto

o HumanFest irá acontecer no Pavilhão Rosa Mota, no Porto, a partir de amanhã, 13 de Outubro,  até domingo, dia 16.

é um festival que pretende despertar consciências para um mundo melhor, com espaço para uma feira alternativa, alimentação saudável e vegetariana, saúde preventiva, concertos meditativos, terapias, enfim, um enorme conjunto de atividades e temas aos quais deveríamos dar mais atenção, e dos quais eu sou particularmente fã, por isso, ....não vou faltar!

quem se junta a mim?

o evento conta com uma área livre, onde decorre a feira, mas tem também uma área restrita com palestras, workshops concertos intimistas para os quais será necessário inscrição.

o Porto tem uma segunda festa de S. João e já toda a gente sabe a data: é em Setembro no dia do Nos D'Bandada! :)

só não há martelinhos nem balões no ar, mas há música, muita música! por isso se diz que é o "S. João da música", onde a cidade sai para a rua enchendo abaixa, as lojas, os restaurantes e bares e todos os espaços que acolhem os concertos.

foram mais de 50 concertos espalhados por diversos espaços, muitos deles ao ar livre e todos de entrada gratuita, numa festa que começa sempre durante a tarde e termina noite fora.

este ano não foi exceção e a cidade aderiu! venha a próxima edição! :)

Porto has its second S.João day, and everybody knows when it is: the day Nos D'Bandada takes place - there are only missing the plastic hammers and the balloons in the air, but there is music, a lot of music! - that's why now we call it the "S.João of the music", where all city goes to the streets, and all downtown aerea gets crowded, as well as shops, bars and restaurants and all the places that host the concerts.

more than 50 concerts spread through different stages, a lot of them at open air, and all of them of free entry, in a party that starts early during the afternoon, ending late after midnight.

this year was no exception and and the city was all envolved! so let's wait for next edition! :)

de 1 a 10 de Setembro comemora-se no Porto o dia do vinho do Porto e os 260 anos da criação da região demarcada do Douro. 

o verdadeiro dia da celebração é o dia 10 de Setembro, que este ano culmina com uma novidade - o Douro Port Wine Sunset Party, na Alfândega do Porto e aberto ao público, mas durante uma semana haverá jantares vínicos com restaurantes e bares associados, e muita animação nas ruas e lojas em torno dos vinhos do Douro e do vinho do Porto.

Caixa Ribeira - fado embracing Ribeira

foram duas noites de fado, ao ar livre ou em lugares emblemáticos da Ribeira, que ecoaram no passado fim-de-semana pelas ruas da Ribeira com a segunda edição do Caixa Ribeira.

o fado é tradicionalmente originário de Lisboa, mas o Porto já se rendeu e ninguém ficou indiferente às vozes ou guitarradas que iam saindo de algumas varandas.

two nights of fado happened last weekend , some at open air, some others at iconic places in Ribeira, with the event Caixa Ribeira.

fado is traditionally from Lisbon, but Porto already surrended to it and nobody stood indifferent to the sound of the guitars coming out of some windows.

Feira do Douro - happening soon

a Feira do Douro é um mercado eno gastronómico, de pequenos produtores locais e aberto ao público, que visa dar a conhecer, provar e quem sabe comprar alguns dos melhores produtos da região.

o evento é organizado pelos Douro Boys, e lá poderá também provar os vinhos dos mesmos.

o evento vai ter lugar nos dias 25 e 26 deste mês de Junho (tome nota!) na Quinta de Nápoles, a Quinta da Niepoort, em Têdo, que fica a pouco mais de uma hora do Porto, e é um excelente programa para uma escapada fora da cidade e para visitar uma das regiões mais bonitas do nosso país.

Feira do Douro is a wine and gastronomy market, with small local producers and open to public. they want to show their products, with opportunity to taste or buy some of the best productions in the region.

event is organised by Douro Boys, and there you will have the chance to taste their drinks as well.

it will take place on 25-26 coming June (take note! ), at Quinta de Nápoles, Niepoorts Quinta, which is located about an hour distant from Porto. It is an excellent programme to a little escape from the city and to visit one of the most beautiful regions in Portugal!

XIX que esteve vários anos por conta da Universidade do Porto, mas que desde Fevereiro último já está aberto ao público e disponível para receber outro tipo de eventos e iniciativas.

ninguém imagina, mas o Palacete é mesmo bonito e imponente, e os jardins um verdadeiro oásis escondido no centro da cidade.

PrimeDrinks is a wine, premium olive oil and spiritual drinks distributor, and is already 20 years old. to celebrate it, they promoted a wine event and party - Encontros em Estado Líquido -  at one beautiful spot in Porto - Palacete Casa Primo Madeira - a palace from 19th century, that was for many years in the hands of the University of Porto, but is since last February open to receive other kind of events.

nobody imagines, but the palace is really beautiful, and the gardens are like a hidden oasis in the centre of the city.
